Job Description

Full-Time live-in Executive Nanny in Hilton Head Island, SC

Seeking a Full-Time Live-in Nanny to support a busy family with three children (ages 5, 7, and 10) while maintaining a clean and organized household. The ideal candidate will be polished, detail-oriented, and proactive, balancing childcare duties with housekeeping tasks.

Compensation: $35-$40/hour. Negotiable for the right candidate. 

Schedule:

  • Monday: OFF
  • Tuesday: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM
  • Wednesday: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM
  • Thursday: 6:30 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Friday: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM
  • Saturday:

    • 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM (two Saturdays per month)

    • 6:30 AM – 8:00 PM (once a month)

  • Sunday: OFF
    Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
    Start Date: Mid-January

Live-in accommodations: private bedroom with bathroom

Childcare Duties:

  • Provide nurturing care for three children, tailored to their individual needs:

    • 10-year-old: Offer calm reassurance during stressful moments.

    • 7-year-old: Encourage creativity, outdoor play, and hobbies.

    • 5-year-old: Engage in comforting and age-appropriate activities.

  • Manage morning routines, including breakfast and school prep.
  • Plan and supervise outdoor activities and playtime.
  • Assist with evening routines on long days, including dinner and bedtime prep.
  • Grocery shopping, meal planning, and preparation of family-friendly meals (2-4 dinners per week).

Household Duties:

  • Light daily cleaning, including:
    • Tidying up common areas.

    • Making beds.

    • Emptying trash.

    • Wiping down counters and surfaces.

    • Sweeping and vacuuming as needed.

  • Manage children’s laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away clothes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in children’s play areas and bedrooms.
  • Assist with unpacking deliveries and occasional errands (e.g., grocery runs).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a nanny or housekeeper.
  • CPR/First Aid certification required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to balance childcare with light housekeeping responsibilities.
  • Driver’s license required (mileage reimbursement provided).
  • Ability to swim (pool on property).
  • Provide 3-5 professional references.
