Position Description

The successful Aviation Recruiter will work independently, partnering with hiring managers and senior management to determine staffing needs. They will be responsible for recruiting duties and work closely with Recruiting Team Lead on OCONUS contracts. They will be responsible for the design, development and disposition of job postings and advertisements for recruitment using social media, TALEO Applicant Tracking System (ATS), training, onboarding, development, record-keeping, responding to inquiries, providing information in accordance with policies and procedures, and general legal compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for recruiting aviation, technical, administrative and management positions across numerous Department of Defense contract requirements as well as commercial business.
  • Receives and processes standard materials appropriate to assigned department, e.g., Hiring Manger developed requisition forms, senior management and customer correspondence, employment forms, recruiting documents, requisitions, resumes, interview reports, and applications.
  • Responsible for a wide variety of data input assignments which may be confidential in nature.
  • Ensures files, records, certificates, and/or other documents are established, maintained, and processed IAW corporate policies.
  • Ensures interviewers/interviewees are scheduled and provided documents as required and may resolve routine scheduling conflicts and problems.
  • Screen resumes, perform in-person and phone interviews with candidates, negotiate job offers, promote job openings and the organization through various hiring channels.
  • Directs the tasks of the hiring process including job offers, drug testing, background checks, licensures, education, required specific training, and verification of all pre-employment paperwork.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

Experience/Skills Required

  • 6 years of industry experience
  • 3 years experience in military recruitment
  • 6 years experience in Human Resources roles.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time to designated job fairs and new contract locations (CONUS and OCONUS).
  • 5 years experience with recruiting ATS such as Taleo, Greenhouse, Workday,
  • 3 years of experience recruiting aviation, technical, administrative and management positions in the DoD sector.
  • 3 years of experience working with hiring managers in the development of job descriptions, requisitions and candidate criteria.
  • 3 years of experience working Federal and State laws regarding employment practices.
  • 3 years of experience with job offers, drug testing, background checks, licensures, education, required specific training, and verification of all pre-employment paperwork.

This role is not eligible for Relocation Support.
