What You’ll Be Doing:  

You will lead marketing efforts for all Whim Hospitality businesses and brands in the United States and England. The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and achieve revenue goals. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in digital and traditional marketing, exceptional strategic thinking, and the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing marketing team.  

This role will report to the CEO and lead a global team of three, plus oversee contracted graphics, web, and public relations services. ​ 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives, enhances brand awareness, and drives revenue growth. 
  • Identify and target key customer segments using market research and analytics to inform decisions. 
  • Set marketing goals and objectives at corporate and business unit levels. 
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a global marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration. 
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development to build a high-performing team. 
  • Oversee all digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email campaigns, social media, and online advertising. 
  • Leverage data analytics to track performance, optimize campaigns, and ensure a strong online presence across all platforms. 
  • Manage the company's online presence, ensuring consistent and engaging content across all digital platforms. 
  • Ensure consistent brand identity and messaging across all channels. 
  • Oversee the creation of marketing and sales collateral, maintaining alignment with brand standards. 
  • Conduct market research to uncover trends, opportunities, and competitive insights. 
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge. 
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum ROI. 
  • Track performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet business goals effectively. 
  • Partner with sales, operations, and other teams to align marketing efforts with broader business initiatives. 
  • Oversee the creation of sales enablement materials to support revenue growth. 
  • Collaborate with external agencies to design and implement impactful PR strategies. 
  • Manage media relations, press releases, and both internal and external communications to maintain a positive public image. 

Who You Are:  

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.  
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with clients and team members.  
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to last-minute changes under pressure.  
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, analytics, and SEO/SEM. Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.  
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field.
  • Five years or more experience in a leadership Marketing role/

Work Environment: 

  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate event needs. 
  • On-site presence required during events, with occasional physical activities such as lifting or moving décor and equipment.

Compensation:  

Salary - 100K – 110K - with opportunities to increase your earnings through exceptional service.
