Vicarious a talent agency that represents emerging and established creatives is seeking two experienced web designers to join our client’s team in PDX (or remote). These roles offer the flexibility to work onsite remotely or in a hybrid capacity allowing you to choose the work environment that suits you best. You will play a key role in designing visually stunning and userfriendly websites that captivate audiences and support our client’s digital presence.
Web Design: Create visually appealing and responsive website designs that align with client goals and brand identities. Pay attention to typography color schemes imagery and layout to ensure an engaging user experience.
UI/UX Principles: Apply usercentered design principles to optimize the user journey and enhance user interactions. Create wireframes prototypes and mockups to illustrate design concepts.
FrontEnd Development: Collaborate with developers to translate design concepts into functional websites. Familiarity with HTML CSS and JavaScript is a plus but not mandatory.
CrossPlatform Compatibility: Ensure that website designs are compatible with various browsers and devices providing a seamless experience for all users.
Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements provide design recommendations and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to identify and resolve designrelated issues before website launch.
Stay Current: Stay uptodate with industry trends emerging web design technologies and best practices. Apply this knowledge to innovate and improve design processes.
Proven experience as a Web Designer with a portfolio showcasing a range of successful website design projects.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite Sketch Figma or similar software.
Understanding of web development technologies and best practices.
Strong visual design and layout skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with content management systems (e.g. WordPress) is a plus.
