Position Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Telehealth

Location: Remote (serving patients in Wolfeboro, NH 03820)

Pay Rate: $40/hr

Duration: 13 weeks contract

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Guarantee Hours: 35

Days: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat

"Your pay is based on whether you are in a local or travel position. A travel position is defined as residing more than 50 miles from the facility."

Job Summary:

As a Telehealth Physical Therapist Assistant, you will collaborate with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver virtual therapeutic services to patients. Your role involves implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and providing education and support through telehealth platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement Treatment Plans: Administer physical therapy interventions as designed by the supervising Physical Therapist, utilizing virtual tools and resources.
• Patient Education: Instruct patients and caregivers on exercises, safety protocols, and the use of adaptive equipment through virtual sessions.
• Progress Monitoring: Observe and document patient responses to treatments, reporting any changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with the healthcare team, patients, and their families via telehealth platforms.
• Documentation: Accurately record patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes in the electronic health record (EHR) system.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensure: Current PTA license in the state of New Hampshire.
• Experience: Prior experience in physical therapy, with a preference for candidates familiar with telehealth services.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using telehealth technologies and electronic health records.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in home health or hospice care.
• CPR certification.
