Come Topeka, Kansas and work with our Transport Team! You will work 7 day's straight, 168 hours, but don't worry we offer on-shift crew rest as needed, providing an environment that encourages safety and rest.

**MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN KANSAS PARAMEDIC**

POSITION TITLE:

Paramedic, Transport Team

Reports to: Operations Manager, Transports Team Lead

  • Part-time, PRN
    • Not eligible for full time benefits
  • A drug free workplace

Compensation:

  • Paid hourly with built in OT that equals:
    • Starting at $4300 per week
    • Up to $4400 per week for CCT/FPC 
  • Employee will be provided with a pre-paid debit card to use for food, etc.
  • Lodging will be provided and paid for by EMS Unlimited
  • Overtime paid according to State and Federal Law

Job Summary:

Perform duties associated with basic and advanced medical and first aid services and emergency medical care to the sick and injured in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and EMS Unlimited policies in the setting of ambulance and transport operations.

Additional opportunities within EMS Unlimited may be made available or required throughout the year based on operational needs, including responding to wildfire and disaster assignments plus many special projects that come up through the year.

Schedule:

  • 7 day's - 168 hours

  • Lodging and food allowance

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and encouraging EMS Unlimited values in yourself and your coworkers;
  • Responding to emergency and non-emergency requests calmly, efficiently and promptly;
  • Administering basic and advanced life support to patients at the scene, in a prehospital/pre-transport setting in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations and standards; 
  • Conducting medical equipment inventory. 
  • Cleaning, organizing and restocking supplies in a ready condition after each use;
  • Working cooperatively with assisting agencies. Be nice, professional, courteous and an all around happy and pleasant person. 

Qualifications



Must possess: Valid CPR, drives license and, Kansas Paramedic Certification.

Must be 21 years of age or older to drive our ambulance.
