For which tasks (responsibilities)?

Red Rift is looking for a Technical Animator to break ground on a brand new AA project currently in pre-production. Genre is medieval battle royale/dungeon crawler/rpg. You'll be working alongside our passionate team of artists & gameplay designers to bridge the visual & combat vision of the game and bring the space to life

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• 3 years of professional experience in a similar position

• Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5

• Ability to implement animation logic using Blueprints

• Keeping up with technological nuances in the field of animation

• Ability to clearly convey constructive feedback

• Good communication skills and eager to work in a group

• Ability to solve problems

  Even Better If You Have

  • Shipped at least one project, ideally in the Action/RPG genre in a 3D animator role

  • Professional experience with the Unreal Engine animation systems

  • A strong demonstrable portfolio of personal and/or professional work

  • Experience in shipping AAA games

  • Experience in Unreal 4/5 projects, both personal and/or professional

What are the conditions and bonuses?

• Implementing animation-related features in Unreal Engine, using built-in engine systems and our game-specific systems

• Working with both asset-based features and procedural animation systems

• Cooperating with animation, gameplay and cinematic departments

• Working closely with engineering team to achieve great results

• Researching new technical solutions
