Summer External Student Worker -Data & Reporting
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Graduate School External Summer Student Worker to join our Data & Reporting team. This internship provides the opportunity to work on real-world projects that help our patients, enhance decision-making and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics.
- Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources to create insightful visualizations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and provide actionable insights.
- Assist in automating reporting processes and improving data workflows.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
- Document report development processes and create user guides to support end-users.
- Stay updated on the latest Power BI features and best practices to enhance reporting capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and report development.
- Experience with Copilot & GenAI-related technologies for enhancing data analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Familiarity with data visualization principles and best practices.
- Experience working with large datasets and various data sources (Excel, SQL databases, APIs, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ETL processes and data modeling.
- Knowledge of Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Location: East Hanover, NJ (100% onsite)
Pay Rate: $34 depending on education level
Contract: 06/09/2025 - End date will be 8/22/2025
