Sommelier and/or Mixologist
## Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Sommelier and/or Mixologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of wines and excellent customer service skills to enhance the dining experience for our guests.
## Duties
- Assist customers in selecting wines that complement their meals
- Provide detailed information about wines on the menu
- Maintain and update the wine list regularly
- Collaborate with chefs to create wine pairings for special events or menus
- Train staff on wine service and knowledge
- Ensure proper storage and handling of wines
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Build a farm to table drink menu
## Requirements
- Experience in the food industry, preferably in fine dining establishments
- Strong knowledge of different types of wines and regions and drinks
- Ability to upsell and recommend wine pairings
- Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Certification or training in sommelier studies is a plus
