MEMCO SER is currently looking for EXPERIENCED carpenters or sheet metal carpenter to start ASAP in Port Arthur!

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Carpenter to perform custom carpentry and sheet metal fabrication for a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal work, carpentry, and a keen attention to detail. As a Sheet Metal Carpenter, you will be responsible for working with blueprints, fabricating, installing, and finishing both sheet metal and carpentry projects.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and install sheet metal components, structures, and systems as per project specifications.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and mold sheet metal for construction projects.
• Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, molding, and trim work.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
• Measure and mark materials for accurate cutting and installation.
• Install and maintain various sheet metal and wood components.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Need to have your own tools for carpentry
• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Carpenter or in a similar role.
• Proficient in both sheet metal fabrication and carpentry techniques.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Solid understanding of safety standards and best practices in construction.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Reliable transportation.

WILL NEED TO GET FULLY PROCESSED IN HOUSTON TX FOR THE POSITION.
