We are excited to announce an opening for a Sr. WCCA position with the State Fund Employee Claims Team! This is a unique opportunity to join a team handling State Fund's employees’ workers compensation claims. This position entails handling of confidential and sensitive information related to colleagues and peers. Discretion and a high level of integrity are essential.
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual who is passionate about serving others and committed to delivering exceptional results. This position requires diverse experience, this Team’s claim assignments are end-end claim handling (from initial report to resolution/closure).
The ideal candidate will have both strategic thinking and effective resolution skills and proven experience in settling complex cases. Success in this role requires the ability to work seamlessly in a small team environment while also excelling independently.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and abilities:
• 4+ Years California Workers’ Compensation adjusting experience
• Strong claims management skills with a track record of successful outcomes
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to service, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Have a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently
• Have strong relationship building skills
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
New to state candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of the alternate salary range when applicable. Placement to an alternate salary range may be based on education or experience identified in your state application.
