Job Title: Senior Golang Developer - SAP Cloud & Security Scanning

Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract

Job Description

The SAP team is looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Golang Developer to drive the development of security scanning capabilities within the SAP Cloud Infrastructure (SAP Converged Cloud) . The ideal candidate will also take on leadership responsibilities, mentoring junior developers with non-Golang expertise, and collaborate closely with senior developers and cloud engineers on Open Source projects .

Key Responsibilities

Development and Innovation

• Design and implement security scanning capabilities for SAP Cloud Infrastructure (SAP Converged Cloud) using Golang .

Leadership and Mentoring

• Lead and guide junior developers, helping them transition into Golang programming from other languages.
• Serve as a role model by promoting best practices in development and collaboration.

Collaboration and Coordination

• Work closely with SAP Senior Golang Developers and Cloud Engineers , ensuring seamless project execution.
• Participate in the development of Open Source projects , supporting SAP's commitment to innovation.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of development experience , with at least 3 years of expertise in Golang .
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills .
• Proven ability to work effectively in global and virtual team environments .

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in Agile environments .
• Passion for open-source development and community contributions.
