We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fleet Planner to join our dynamic team in Boston, United States. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for optimizing our fleet operations, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and driving cost-effective solutions. Hourly rate $25.25

  • Develop and implement strategic fleet plans to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
  • Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize vehicle utilization and routing
  • Manage vehicle lifecycle, including acquisition, maintenance, and replacement schedules
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on fleet performance and cost analysis
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and processes to enhance fleet operations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers
  • Lead and mentor junior fleet planning team members
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in fleet management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet planning or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in fleet management software and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record in optimizing fleet operations and reducing costs
  • In-depth understanding of transportation and logistics industry trends
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance requirements
  • Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Transportation Professional) preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience mentoring team members
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to drive process improvements
