About the Team:

As a member of the Finance, Risk, and Compliance (FRC) group at Capco you will play a role delivering projects, ranging from short-term strategic assessments to large-scale change initiatives, for leading clients across financial services—including investment banking, retail banking, wealth/asset management, and insurance clients.

We are open to individuals with risk management, risk controls, and/or regulatory experience in financial services gained through prior professional experience.  

About the Job:

As a Senior Consultant, you will work alongside industry experts as part of FRC in a fast-paced team setting. Your insights and deliverables will influence actions taken by managers and executives, both in real-time problem-solving situations and as the outcome of engagements.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Deliver risk management and/or regulatory initiatives for large banks, asset managers, and insurance companies
  • Contribute to planning and development of regulatory projects; collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful completion within deadlines
  • Work directly with client program sponsors to set the goals of the initiative as well as plans to ensure the program is successful
  • Produce insights, analyses, and recommendations to provide strategic guidance, improve client performance, and drive understanding of client issues
  • Develop and execute regular status reporting and adhoc senior management presentations for program sponsors, steering committees and working groups
  • Build new solutions, toolkits, best practice documents, and consulting approaches that can be applied across Capco
  • Identify incremental sales opportunities while managing project delivery
  • Develop thought leadership content, take a leadership role in proposal responses, and participate in client pitches

What You’ll Bring with You:

  • 5+ years of risk management and/regulatory experience; experience working within financial services consulting preferred
  • Self-starter who can work under pressure, using your own initiative to meet deadlines and see tasks through to completion
  • Ability to drive completion of project deliverables that exceed client expectations
  • Highly organized, able to drive projects and simultaneously prioritize individual tasks
  • Able to operate independently and use sound judgement when in interacting with senior clients
  • Excellent communicator and influencer, ability to build relationships at all levels from a range of departments and business areas
  • Analyze problems, apply analytical approaches, and communicate findings effectively/confidently
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
