Job Summary:
As a Roustabout Laborer, you'll be the backbone of our oilfield operations, providing essential support to ensure the smooth functioning of drilling, production, and maintenance activities. Your role will encompass a wide range of manual labor tasks, from assisting with equipment setup to maintaining cleanliness and safety on site. You'll work closely with experienced team members to learn the ropes and develop valuable skills in the oil and gas industry.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
While you won't have direct supervisory responsibilities, you may be tasked with guiding newer team members or assisting with their training. Your role will primarily focus on carrying out assigned tasks under the direction of supervisors and experienced colleagues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Site Preparation: Assist in setting up drilling rigs, well sites, and production facilities by moving and positioning equipment, materials, and supplies.
Manual Labor: Perform various manual tasks, including loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, and assembling equipment components.
Equipment Maintenance: Support maintenance activities by greasing fittings, changing oil, replacing worn parts, and performing other basic maintenance tasks under supervision.
Site Cleanup: Participate in site cleanup efforts to maintain cleanliness and orderliness, including removing debris, spills, and hazardous materials.
Infrastructure Support: Aid in the installation and maintenance of pipelines, tanks, and other oilfield infrastructure as directed by supervisors.
Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with supervisors, coworkers, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and address any issues or concerns.
Adherence to Regulations: Follow company policies, procedures, and regulations always governing oilfield operations and environmental compliance.
Flexibility: Be prepared to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as required to support oilfield operations and meet project deadlines.

Education Requirements:
Basic: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Completion of vocational training or certification in a relevant field, such as construction, mechanical maintenance, or oilfield operations.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job (but are not limited to). The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time, unassisted. The incumbent must wear a respirator when required. Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination sufficient to operate industrial machinery is required. This job also requires full range of body motion to include handling and lifting. The incumbent must repeatedly lift and/or move up to 65 (SIXTY-FIVE) pounds unassisted. Visual acuity, hearing, speaking, reading, and writing must be adequate to perform all required tasks in a safe manner.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Work is usually done outdoors and sometimes at a client facility or job site and is frequently performed in inclement and/or extreme weather conditions. The incumbent is exposed to electricity, moving mechanical parts, vehicles, equipment, and hazardous materials. This position regularly requires long work hours and frequent weekend work.
