Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of data entry tasks. You will manage data across various systems and databases, verify and correct errors, and maintain up-to-date records. As a vital member of our team, you will ensure that all data remains confidential, reliable, and accessible while collaborating with colleagues to resolve any discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter data into multiple databases and systems within specified timeframes.
  • Review, validate, and correct data to maintain consistency and accuracy.
  • Cross-reference data with source documents for verification.
  • Update and retrieve records as needed, ensuring quick and efficient access.
  • Perform regular data backups for secure data storage.
  • Maintain and organize files for streamlined data retrieval.
  • Collaborate with team members to address and resolve data-related challenges.
  • Uphold the confidentiality and security of sensitive information always.


Requirements

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong typing skills with high accuracy and speed.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and data entry software.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional qualifications in data management are a plus).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with remote work and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations and best practices.

Working Hours:

  • Flexible working hours in a fully remote setting.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (further qualifications in data management are preferred).

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 12 months of experience in data entry or administrative roles.
