Quality Manager
Location: Milford, CT (or surrounding areas)
Salary: $90K-$120K base (salary can be higher depending on experience) 

Position Overview
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Quality Manager to oversee our quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining product quality and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Lead and conduct internal and external audits to assess and improve quality processes.
• Manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes to address quality issues effectively.
• Oversee product testing and inspections to ensure that all products meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure supplier quality assurance and address any quality-related concerns.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, including DMRs and APQP documentation.
• Implement quality control measures and conduct regular quality assessments of manufacturing processes.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor staff on quality assurance best practices and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management principles.
• Experience with QMS, CAPA, NCR, and audits is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with product testing, inspections, and quality control processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience in the lighting or power electronics industries is a plus.
