The Project Manager resource will aid the Shared Services Manager by supporting steady- state existing programs, as well as other adhoc tasks and responsibilities as necessary.
General Guidance for Expected Years of Experience: 3-6 years

Strong analytical skills for tracking metrics, reporting trend data and making data informed decisions Familiar with LEAN methodologies - preferred
Experience in managing third party vendors, service providers and/or contracts Familiarity with Project Management Systems - preferred
Experience in identifying inefficiencies and implementing automaton or standardizing process

Strong Project Management skills
Ability to adapt to a fast moving environment Familiarity with Project Management Systems preferred

Certifications and qualifications, including education/degree
Experience commensurate with a Bachelor's degree; a combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree
IT systems that will be used
NEIS, O365 (SharePoint, Teams, Office suite), Salesforce, Asana, Confluence
Tasks
Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and evaluating similar processes across the processes to identify opportunities for streamlining and simplifying programs;
Act as a liaison between implementation contractor and program staff to address any questions or issues that arise;
Review & analyze monthly reports to identify performance trends, flag anomalies, report accuracy and timeliness, and driving continuous improvement in the Shared Services engagement;
Process Task Work Orders (TWO) - NEIS entry of TWOs, processing of TWOs, and shepherding the TWOs through the process;
Budget management and oversight ensuring estimated and actual budgets are reconciled timely;
Attend meetings with support contractor; and
Other duties as identified that contribute toward the key outcomes of the Central Business Services team.

Has well developed understanding of relevant technical principles and their application to a program area. Develops/formulates Deployment issues, problems and needs in at least one technical area. Has acknowledged expertise at conceptual level of technical skills and knowledge in at least one program area. Has basic understanding of State energy/environmental economic development issues.
Creativity in Project & Program Development:
Has developed and managed projects with little specific direction. Develops new projects and co-funding sources with own initiative. Carried out development of several projects through competitive solicitation phase that may or may not result from own initiative. Has provided ideas and rationale for program development in at least one technical area.
Organization Skills & Productivity:
Has demonstrated ability to implement projects in a timely manner. Demonstrates the capability to manage all aspects of on- going projects with no supervision. Is able to prioritize workload with other responsibilities. Effectively discharges general technical and project management assignments in a timely manner.
Demonstrates strategic thinking connected to the organization's goals.
Leadership / Interpersonal Relations / Judgement:
Has demonstrated ability to effectively head working groups or program teams. Provides guidance to junior staff when appropriate and can supervise the day-to-day work of interns. Communication Skills & External Relations:
Has demonstrated ability to produce both written material and verbal presentations that are direct, recognize and focus on issues, are both comprehensive and concise and require editing only in most sensitive and complex areas. Is able to negotiate effectively with contractors and interface effectively with customers and other outside contacts. Has demonstrated ability to prepare and present papers at professional meetings, seminars and conferences.
