Your Role We are hiring Project Engineer/Managers for future opportunities to lead and coordinate activities related to a variety of projects within the biotechnology manufacturing industry.  The ideal candidate will possess a technical background in engineering, validation processes, quality, and project management, coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and  should preferably have professional experience in Pharmaceuticals or Biotech in a manufacturing industry.   The Project Engineer/Project Manager will:

  • Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. 
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against milestones.
  • Provide specific directions to project teams through written and verbal communication in order to execute work in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conceptualize solutions, define budgetary needs/scope, gain approval for funding, forecast spending, and accrue financials.
  • Identify and proactively manage project risks. Develop mitigation plans and contingency strategies to address potential issues.
  • Uphold project standards by ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices. 
  • Track project performance and analyze the completion of key goals.
  • Document and report project progress to stakeholders.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to cross-functional teams overall.
  • Provide expert-level project management for floating plant projects of high dollar value, of high complexity of extraordinary urgency, or having similar requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

Requirements

At PSC Biotech, many of our projects and clients are in various regions around the country. Therefore, we value candidates who are willing and able to travel as needed for project assignments and client engagements. The ability to adapt to various locations, cultures, and work environments is essential, as it allows our team members to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues nationally.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science, technology or  engineering discipline is required.
  • 5 years or more of experience in commissioning and qualifying bio-pharmaceutical facilities and equipment or in a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with project management or engineering is preferred.
  • PMP certification or Project Management Certification is highly preferred.
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Access skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service driven.
  • Problem solving and analytics aptitude.
