Job Description

Position Summary

Position provides basic blood drawing procedures or experienced skill in capillary and venipuncture blood collection on patients in a patient unit, outpatient area, or laboratory environment under direct or moderate supervision.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Draws blood on patients within Childrenâ™s and Barnes Hospitals by venipuncture or capillary sticks.

  • Applies sweat tests at supervisorâ™s discretion.

  • Transports specimens.

  • Performs other duties assigned by supervisor or Phlebotomy coordinator.

Required Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience.

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, Basic Life Support - American Red Cross, Basic Life Support - CPR St Louis

$16.23 - $21.88 / Hourly
