Deaton Fleet Solutions is looking for a Parts Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to jump onboard and hit the road. Our Parts Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant is a very important role within Deaton. This role requires that our team member assists with tire inventory, process tire casings, check in orders, label parts, and process core returns. Operating a forklift, lifting heavy items such as batteries, brake kits and brake drums, tires and door blanks are a few of the daily tasks that will be required. Our Delivery Driver will be assisting with delivering and picking up parts for our techs at onsite locations. If you enjoy daily drives and take pride in your work come join us at Deaton!!

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Operations: Safely and efficiently deliver parts to customers and other locations as assigned.
Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any delivery-related inquiries or issues.
Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Documentation: Accurately complete delivery paperwork, including delivery logs and customer receipts.
Inventory Management: Assist with loading and unloading parts, ensuring accurate inventory counts.
Warehouse Operations: Assists with daily warehouse activities to include but not limited to shipping, receiving, stocking and all general housekeeping duties within the warehouse.
Safety Compliance : Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and handling parts.
Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Qualifications :

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and supplies.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
