**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to join our delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Safely operate a box truck (up to [weight limit, e.g., 26,000 lbs] GVWR) to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload goods from the truck, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery, using GPS and maps as necessary.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery receipts and any discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional at all delivery locations.
- Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays to the appropriate department immediately.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to [weight limit, e.g., 50-75 lbs]) on a regular basis.
- Familiarity with GPS systems.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
