NDT Inspector Certified 1st Class Inspector job at EthosEnergy Houston, TX, US

Job Description

EthsosEnergy is currently seeking an NDT Inspector Certified 1st class inspector to help support the Houston, TX facility. Who will help maintain the NDT line IAW EEA&C procedures and work instructions. Performs daily NDT inspection of parts and components.

Job Responsibilities

Performs daily NDT system checks and documents the results.
Performs NDT inspection of material per the appropriate WI’s, product manuals, and work instructions.
Maintains a daily NDT log of all parts processed.
Performs NDT training to delegated Level I and trainee NDT Inspectors.

Required Skills / Knowledge

Ability to successfully train inspection techniques and methods to help develop other NDE inspectors and other shop employees in inspection tech
Ability to have technical discussion with internal and external teams/personnel to drive defect classification reasoning and help determine best path forward for repairs regarding inspection techniques used.
Knowledge of company’s policies and procedures
Knowledge of various shop hand tools
Skilled in use of various hand tool
Must have completed the training hours as required by ASNT SNT-TC-1A (Latest Edition) for the methods as outlined in Table 1 below. (Level I & Level II) Skilled in oral and written communication (English)
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to organize workload to meet deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively (both written and oral)
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English per FAA Regulations
Ability to use specified hand tools to achieve desired results
Ability to think and concentrate for long periods of time
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to train others as required
Ability to be flexible with work schedule
Ability to learn tasks required to perform the job . Must have up to date certs.
