Job Title: Family Assistant with Childcare Experience

Location: Pelham, NY

Compensation: $30–$35 per hour

Start Date: February 24, 2025

About the Position:
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and flexible Family Assistant to support a young professional family with two children, ages 2.5 years and 6 months. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, light household management, and occasional childcare while providing essential support to help the family focus on their children, personal health, and professional commitments.

Schedule:

• Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Childcare Support:
  • Assist with childcare as needed, including school drop-offs in the future.
  • Engage with the children lovingly and patiently .
• Household Support:
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and maintaining household organization.
  • Run errands and manage household supplies inventory.
  • Prepare simple meals or snacks; meals are delivered most of the time.

Requirements:

• Experience with toddlers and infants.
• Strong organizational skills and a love for organizing.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus (mother speaks Spanish).
• Attention to detail, trustworthiness, and reliability.
• A positive, patient, and adaptable attitude.
• Willingness to drive occasionally; a valid driver’s license is required.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
• Non-smoking individual.

Additional Details:

• No pets in the home.
• No travel is required.
