About the Role:
Were on the hunt for a detailoriented Mining Technician I to join the hive. This role is essential to keeping our data centers running at peak efficiency providing firstlevel troubleshooting and maintaining hardware to support blockchain technology operations. Your Mission:

• System Monitoring: Proactively monitor production systems providing remote hands support as needed.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance of data center equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Cabling and Equipment Setup: Run copper and fiber cables rack equipment and set up PDUs network gear and servers.
• Hardware Management: Maintain an accurate data center hardware map and asset management records.
• Troubleshooting: Provide firstlevel troubleshooting for client servers and network devices escalating as needed.
• Database Management: Keep company databases uptodate with accurate current information.
• Process RMAs: Manage Return Merchandise Authorizations for hardware and equipment.
• Corporate Ticketing System: Use the corporate ticketing system for tracking repairs and maintenance.
• Organization: Keep data centers clean and organized ensuring tools workstations and laptops are in order.
• Deployment Support: Assist in machine deployments including unboxing and racking equipment.

Skills:

• Technical Troubleshooting: Familiarity with basic troubleshooting computer systems and network devices.
• Data Center Operations: Ability to run copper/fiber cables rack equipment set up servers and perform routine maintenance.
• Record Keeping & Database Management: Experience maintaining hardware maps asset records and using corporate ticketing systems.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to meet the physical demands of the job including lifting up to 50 lbs. climbing ladders and working in varying temperatures.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive equipment with care.
• Team Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and with leadership.
• Organizational Skills: Proven ability to maintain an organized and compliant data center environment.

What You Bring:

• Education: High school diploma/GED required; Associate Degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Basic computer knowledge and troubleshooting skills required.
• Drivers License: Valid drivers license preferred.
• Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications:
None required.

Education:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Travel: Occasional travel between data centers may be required.
• Environment: This position operates in a data center environment using equipment such as voltmeters hash board testers scissor lifts and more. Exposed to varying temperatures.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to work on ladders lift up to 50 lbs. run cables and stand for extended periods in hot and cold environments.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Fulltime position with shifts that may vary by site.
