Position Details:
Remote Option Available (must be licensed in Michigan)
Teletherapy Clinician and/or In-Person Opportunities (near the Livonia, MI area)
We are seeking licensed therapists who specialize in a variety of areas, including:
Substance abuse
Marriage and family therapy
Group therapy
Sexual health
Trauma-informed care
LGBTQ+ support
Child therapy (including autism)
Adolescent LGBTQ+ support
End-of-life counseling
Depression, anxiety, and grief counseling
Geriatrics
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Strength-based counseling
Motivational Interviewing
Solution-Focused Therapy
Mindfulness
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
Psychoanalytic and behavioral therapies
Humanistic and integrative approaches
Key Responsibilities:
Provide therapeutic services to individuals and families in a variety of settings, including teletherapy and in-person sessions
Conduct assessments to understand and address patients' psychosocial needs
Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with patients and their families
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
Support patients in accessing community resources and additional services
Offer counseling and emotional support, ensuring a compassionate and non-judgmental approach
Advocate for patients' rights and ensure they receive the appropriate care they deserve
Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and progress
Supervise and support limited license social workers during counseling sessions, providing guidance as needed
Regularly meet with colleagues to discuss patient progress and treatment plans
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
Michigan state licensure (required)
Preferred experience in medical social work or a similar setting
Familiarity with medical coding and documentation practices
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life
