We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic Bristol office, part of one of the largest independent consulting engineering firms in the industry.

Requirements

  • Academic Qualifications : You should have an expected or achieved 2.1 or above in an IMechE or CIBSE accredited degree, or an equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. A master's degree or other relevant postgraduate qualification will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Industry Experience : Previous work experience or placements in a related industry are highly desirable. This could include internships, part-time roles, or any exposure to mechanical engineering environments.
  • Technical Skills : Familiarity with CAD or similar modelling software is advantageous, reflecting your ability to work with the latest industry tools. Any experience in digital modelling or design will set you apart.
  • Soft Skills : You should possess excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills, which are critical for working within multidisciplinary teams and delivering projects efficiently. Your ability to communicate technical ideas clearly is essential.
  • Teamwork and Independence : The ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while also being capable of working independently is key. You should be comfortable with both, depending on project demands.
