Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Assembler to join our team in our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling various components to create finished products according to specifications and quality standards. This role requires excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

This position is on-site and is not eligible for remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer. Anticipated work hours for this position will be 5.00am – 2.00pm Monday-Friday.

Requirements

The Primary Responsibilities for this role include:

  1. Assembling components accurately and efficiently to produce finished products according to blueprints, work orders, and quality standards.
  2. Operating hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
  3. Inspecting parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  4. Identifying and reporting any issues or discrepancies in the assembly process to supervisors or quality control personnel.
  5. Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
  6. Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to perform assembly tasks accurately.
  7. Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth production flow and timely completion of orders.
  8. Adherence to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
  9. Participating in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.
  10. Will need to learn how to operate forklift and become certified.
  11. Some material handling.
  12. Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

The ideal candidate for this role will have/be:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Experience as an assembler or similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  3. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
  6. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  7. Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation purposes.
  8. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to climb stairs.
  • Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed.
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
  • Must wear gloves and ear protection when required.

Additional Job Details

The hourly rate for this position is $16 - $20.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
