Job Description

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training, and certifications, as well as other factors permitted by law.

Earning Potential: $18-$23 per hour (Base pay varies depending on the county of employment.)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our Manager in Training program. This program is designed for those with leadership or management experience who have a passion for leading teams and delivering exceptional service. As a Manager in Training, you will be guided through every aspect of managing a car wash location. Over time, you will gain hands-on experience and take on increasing responsibilities, with the goal of becoming the Store Manager.

This role involves both outdoor and indoor tasks, such as overseeing facility operations, working with team members, and building customer relationships. You will also be involved in administrative duties, managing sales and labor data through the facility's point-of-sale system.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervisory:

Assist the location manager in providing direction and supervision on-site.
Work closely with the General Manager and Operations Team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Learn and execute opening and closing duties while adhering to established procedures.
Ensure safety for both employees and customers by maintaining compliance with safety procedures and reporting any safety or maintenance concerns to management.
Understand and manage quality control to enhance customer experience, products, services, scheduling, and labor cost control.
Communicate effectively at all levels with employees, customers, peers, and management.
Motivate and guide employees to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Handle damage claims professionally and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Support various company initiatives, including marketing, sales, customer service, and talent management.
Maintain flexibility with your schedule, including working days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Perform other duties as required.
Operations:

Service and prepare vehicles for entry into the wash tunnel.
Maintain the cleanliness of the location by completing tasks such as sweeping, replenishing, mopping, and minor landscaping as directed by leadership.
Provide exceptional customer service by being friendly, professional, and handling vehicles with care.
Keep the property organized and spotless.
Adhere to safety and cleanliness protocols, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
Contribute to the team's success by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Minimum Job Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old.
High School Diploma or GED.
1-3 years of supervisory experience in a car wash, retail, or service environment.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to interact with others, interpret spoken messages, and use reasoning to resolve complex problems. Physical tasks include frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, kneeling, and working on uneven surfaces. The role also involves frequent lifting and carrying of items ranging from 1-25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds).
