Job Description

• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to repair electrical equipment; AC, DC, PLCs.
• Knowledge of electrical codes.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to repair overhead cranes
• Owns a set of personal tools an ohm meter.
• Ability to weld.
• Ability to run conduit and pull wire.
• Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions
• Troubleshoots, repairs/rebuilds, installs electrical equipment, including overhead cranes.
• Performs mechanical maintenance when required.
• Makes suggestions for maintenance improvements to prevent future breakdowns.
• Follows lock out procedures. Works in a safe manner.
• Performs preventive electrical maintenance as directed.
• Reports any unsafe condition and/or major equipment problems to supervisor.
• Welds equipment as required.
• Runs conduit and pulls wiring as required.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
  
• Reports directly to Maintenance Supervisor.
