Job Description

We are looking for an outgoing, positive, team player with a "can do attitude" to join our growing team at our newly constructed property, The Village at North Station. Primary responsibilities of the Leasing Agent are to help coordinate marketing efforts, serve as the primary contact during the application process, and to all our residents. You will be a big part of the team effort in achieving occupancy and lease up goals. Bilingual Preferred!

• Help with lease up of each building as it's completed. 
• Provide outstanding customer, professionalism, and exemplary communication.  
• Provide detailed phone presentation to prospective residents with purpose of pre-screening for qualifications and setting an appointment to show an apartment.
• Provide tours of the apartment communities to prospective residents for the purpose of leasing apartments.
• Keep accurate and detailed records of phone and walk-in traffic utilizing approved traffic logs and guest cards.
• Enter all traffic into computer daily. Discuss with prospective residents the advantages of leasing at our properties.
• Conduct outreach marketing as needed.
• Schedule resident move-ins.
• Maintain organization of all key and parking assignments for residents. Handle all resident questions, maintenance requests, payment of rent or any other requests on a daily basis.
• Comply with all LIHTC, Federal and Local Fair Housing regulations and ordinances. Complete all other projects or requests as directed by Supervisor.

Requirements: Experience/Training. 

• Must have previous leasing or sales experience with excellent closing abilities.
• We are willing to train the right person if they are out-going, a team player, dependable, and eager to learn.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Should have excellent social and motivational skills. 
• Should be compassionate and have an outgoing personality with a sense of humor. 
• Must be punctual and dependable. 
• Must have excellent telephone skills. 
• Must be a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
• Must have proven closing skills. 
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and meet deadlines. 
• Computer literacy is required for the position.

Physical Requirements:

• Should be able to conduct tours. 
• Must be able to travel up and down stairs at the property, the property does have an elevator. 
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds in a variety of work situations. 
• Must be able to reach, bend, and have a full range of motion. 
• Just have stamina to work long hours, if needed.
