Job Description

A multi-state property and casualty (PNC) insurance company is seeking a skilled part-time Insurance Underwriter to join their team. This role involves evaluating risk, assessing insurance applications, and determining appropriate coverage and premiums.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Reviewing and analyzing insurance applications to determine risk levels.
2. Setting coverage terms, conditions, and premiums.
3. Collaborating with agents and clients to gather necessary information.
4. Ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
5. Maintaining detailed and accurate records of decisions and policies.

Ideal Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance underwriting.
2. Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
3. Familiarity with property and casualty insurance policies.
4. Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
5. Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

This part-time position offers flexible work opportunities in multiple locations, including Brooklyn, Long Island, Lakewood (NJ), and Monsey.

Salary: $55k - $70k/Year
