Vine Hospitality seeks a self-motivated Human Resources Generalist to support our growing team, play a key role in shaping our company culture, and become the go-to resource for team members, ensuring they are empowered and equipped to create unforgettable dining experiences for our guests. 

The ideal candidate must reside in California, be willing to travel to Vine's San Jose office and restaurants as needed for meetings and operational needs, and report directly to the Director of Human Resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; relevant professional HR certification is a plus
  • 3-4 years of experience in HR roles; experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and labor regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, experience with HRIS management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a knack for building relationships
  • Ability to mjultitask and manage various priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to hiring and onboarding 
  • Support team member development initiatives, including training programs and performance management processes
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company’s values
  • Create and organize employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels
  • Assist in administering employee benefits, leave programs, and workers’ compensation claims, as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and documentation within HRIS systems
 

The target salary range for this role is $80k-90k based on skills and experience.
