Job Title: Fabricator/Welder
Location: Charlotte NC 28269
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Max Pay: $28/hr
Position comments:
2nd SHIFT AVAILABLE ONLY!
Training will be working hours & Schedule will be provided and is subject to change.
o 1st shift
Expected Working hours: 06:00a-4:30 pm; Typical shift: 0600a-230p.
2 hours of OT daily and 1-2 Saturdays for 8 hours.
Required Skill Set :
Two-year experience in manufacturing welding using Pulsed MIG, Short-arc MIG or Submerged arc processes preferred;
ASME certification
Ability to pass an onsite 6G certification test
Knowledge of the welding process and equipment
Ability to weld vertical, flat and overhead welds with a good penetration and a quality appearance
Ability to operate a plasma cutter and acetylene torches
Math skills including fractions and angles
Ability to read tape measures and angle finders
Ability to read blueprint drawings and cut lists
Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments
Education Qualification :
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
