Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing facility located just a few miles west of Miami, specializing in foundry operations. With a strong focus on environmental compliance, they are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate is well-versed in Title V regulations and experienced in working with government agencies on environmental compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead environmental project activities, including site investigations, environmental assessments, and remediation plans.
  • Compliance Strategy: Develop strategies to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and hazardous waste management.
  • Environmental Risk Assessment: Identify and advise on environmental risks associated with plant operations.
  • Sampling & Monitoring: Design and implement sampling and monitoring plans for air, land, and water pollution.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze environmental data to ensure regulatory compliance and prepare reports for management and agencies.
  • Regulatory Evaluation: Stay updated on regulatory changes, ensuring all operations comply with the latest standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with Title V compliance and hazardous waste management.
  • Proven track record in environmental project management.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and risk assessment.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with regulatory bodies and internal teams.
