Job Description

Bequest is a growing consulting brand specialized in merchant processing. We are looking for an Entry Level Business Development Representative to join our team helping to prospect sales, qualify leads for new and existing accounts, as well as manage client relationships.

You will act as a liaison between our marketing team and the business owners. As a business development professional, you will provide excellent merchant service solutions to small, medium and large companies. Being naturally curious, results-driven, and eager to bring our product/services to new markets is way more important to us than experience, which is a plus but not needed as we will provide the proper tools and training.

Responsibilities : 

• Contact and qualify leads
  • ​​​​ Prospect new sales leads by making an initial phone contact or in-person visit
  • Conduct presentations to new clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate services
• Manage current accounts
  • Stay in contact with existing accounts or leads and create brand awareness, educational opportunities, and request referrals
  • Coordinate in-person meetings and calls with new clients
• Customer support
  • ​​​​​​​ Answer calls from clients, identify the issue and make suggestions for future or new products or services.  

Qualifications :

• BS degree in Marketing or Business Administration is recommended
• 1+ year of hands-on industry experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and database tools
• Understanding of sales performance metrics
• Excellent interpersonal skills and approachable personality
