Education Department Administrator

JOIN AN OUTSTANDING TEAM!
As the  Education Department Administrator,  you will oversee the operations and compliance of the Marquis Nursing Assistant Training Course & Medication Aide Training Course. You will lead a team of professional Licensed Nurses as they teach classes and help students accomplish their healthcare goals.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of 10-12 Licensed Nurse Instructors, Program Director, and team Assistant
  • Collaborate with team members to meet Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required and approved curriculum content
  • Be available to team members for questions, guidance and problem-solving
  • Maintain a program that complies with all Board standards
  • Implement and uphold written policies necessary for the operation of the program.
  • Coordinate classroom and clinical sites and activities
  • Ensure the classroom, lab, and clinical environment is conducive to teaching and learning
  • Assess students’ reactions to course content, instructional effectiveness, and other aspects of the learning experience through an anonymous and confidential process
  • Provide monthly reports with student data analytics; track ROI related to program goals
  • Strong understanding of OSBN record keeping regulations relating to class file documentation and audits
  • Act as an ally to facility staff/students when questions arise about certification process with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • A passion for and skill for leading a team, teaching, and training others.
  • Internal applicants will be given preference for this role.
