Job Title: Direct Inside Sales Associate

Department: Sales/Customer Service

Reports To: Sales & Marketing Manager

Job Summary

This position is responsible for driving sales growth and maintaining customer relationships by generating leads, conducting presentations, managing the sales process, and providing post-sales support by performing the duties below.

  Essential Job Duties

• Processes custom and turnkey quote requests.
• Identifies and reaches out to potential customers through various channels to generate new sales leads.
• Builds and maintains relationships with existing customers and engages with potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Conducts presentations and demonstrations of products or services to potential customers, highlighting features and benefits.
• Manages the sales process from order placement to fulfillment, ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders.
• Stays informed about the products or services being sold, including their features, benefits, and any updates or changes.
• Meets or exceeds sales targets and quotas set by the company.
• Addresses customer inquiries, resolves issues, and provides post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintains accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales progress, and generates reports as required.
• Works closely with other sales team members, marketing, and customer service departments to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and customer support.
• Conducts research to stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

  Qualifications

Education & Experience

A bachelor’s degree is required for this role. In addition to the education requirement, this position requires 1-2 years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be used to satisfy these requirements.

Travel Requirement

This position requires infrequent (up to 5% of the position) travel related to the job duties above. Travel will primarily consist of day trips.
