BAE Systems is looking for a junior-level Cybersecurity Analyst to join a strong team supporting our government customer. This position will provide the ability to make a significant impact to the mission. The junior-level Cybersecurity Analyst will be: + Responsible for monitoring computer networks for security issues. + Investigating security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents. + Documenting security breaches and assess the damage they cause. + Working with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities, such as penetration testing. + Fixing detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard. + Recommending best practices for IT security. + Installing security measures and operating software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs. + Must be capable of conducting analysis, confirming intrusion information and creating a forensically sound duplicate of the files. + Decrypting data and provides technical summaries and input. + Examining recovered data for relevant information and performs dynamic analysis to include timeline, statistical, and file signature analysis. + Performing real-time cyber defense handling tasks to support deployable Incident Response Teams (IRTs). \#LI-VW1 \#LI-Onsite **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. + Performs work that requires practical experience and training. + Work is performed under supervision. + Minimum of 1 year experience recommended. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $86460 - $146982 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
