Key Details About the Position:
- Hourly Rate: Starting at $16.00/hour, with $17.57/hour for markets with higher living costs, such as Los Angeles, CA.
- Full-time Position: 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 11 paid holidays, 19 PTO days, and retirement options.
- Work Schedule: Typically Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM in your local time zone. Rotating Saturdays every 6-8 weeks.
- Training: Training will begin on February 3rd and lasts 8 business days on a full-time schedule, typically from 10 AM - 7 PM Eastern Time or 11 AM - 8 PM Eastern Time.
- Typing Requirement: Ability to type 40 words per minute with 80% accuracy.
- U.S. Citizenship: Required for this role due to contractual agreements.
- Interview Process: All interviews will be conducted virtually (via phone or video).
Remote Work Requirements:
- Internet: Must have a reliable, hard-wired internet connection (ethernet cable) with a speed of at least 200 Mbps for a single-person household, and 400 Mbps for multi-person households.
- Caregiving: Please note that remote work is not a replacement for caregiving responsibilities.
- Security: You'll need a private, secure space with a door and a security camera, in addition to your computer setup.
About the Role:
As a Client Advocate, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients. Your welcoming and empathetic communication will play a key role in making their experience positive. While most of your calls will be inbound, you may also make outbound calls to introduce services and schedule appointments. You will also explain financial products and services, transferring clients to a Financial Counselor when needed.
Through a comprehensive training program, you will gain the knowledge to assist clients with a variety of financial and credit-related questions. While not every client will choose to use our services, your role is to ensure that everyone who reaches out walks away feeling better equipped to handle their financial challenges.
Your Daily Responsibilities May Include:
- Answering incoming and outgoing calls (typically lasting around 5 minutes each) from prospective clients.
- Communicating in both Spanish and English.
- Providing top-tier customer service, creating a positive first experience for clients.
- Addressing client questions about services and scheduling appointments with a Financial Counselor.
- Entering and maintaining confidential client data.
- Conducting financial assessments and referring clients to appropriate services.
- Handling client inquiries and complaints professionally and routing them appropriately.
- Maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times.
