Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Morning Baker to join our team at Pie Room by Curtis Stone. This role involves a balanced focus on both production and baking, ensuring that all products meet our high standards for freshness and quality. With an early start time of 2 a.m., you will play a crucial role in preparing and baking items for the day ahead, helping to set up a successful service each morning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute baking and production tasks, including preparing doughs, fillings, and other components for a range of baked goods.
• Bake and finish products according to recipes and timing guidelines to ensure freshness and quality.
• Assist with morning setup, including arranging products for display and wholesale distribution.
• Monitor baking times, oven temperatures, and ingredient measurements for consistency.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace, following health and safety standards.
• Track and manage ingredient inventory, communicating shortages to ensure smooth production.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain quality and efficiency during early morning hours.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a baker or in a production-focused role, preferably in a high-volume bakery.
• Strong understanding of baking techniques and equipment.
• Ability to work independently with time management skills suitable for early morning shifts.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain consistency.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Working Conditions:

• Early morning shift starting at 2 a.m.; may include weekends and holidays as required.
• Physical requirements include standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
