Magrane Pet Medical Center (MPMC) is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to become a valued member of our exceptional veterinary healthcare team. We focus on delivering excellence in pet healthcare to our region, serving a spectrum of species from dogs and cats to avian, exotic companion mammals, and reptile patients - all of which receive the best in both wellness and illness care with us. We routinely use our GE Logiq ultrasound and take advantage of Sound training courses, perform electrocardiograms and diagnostic EKGs with telemedicine capabilities, as well as employing our surgical laser, and Class 4 therapeutic laser, IV fluid and patient warmers, fluid pumps, multiple anesthetic machines, and more. As far as special ophthalmology services, we use our Tonovet, slit lamp, and electroretinography testing to do great workups for eye issues. We offer weekly puppy socialization classes focused on positive training and have a strong collaboration with local behavior professionals to assist us with these types of needs. 

Our hospital hours allow for a flexible weekly schedule with rotating Saturdays. Our veterinarians and team enjoy work-life presence --- be present with your daily responsibilities with us, then go be present in your non-vet life, too! --- with no on-call or after-hour emergencies. You will have fully electronic cloud-based medical records and a great team helping you provide patient care so you can focus on being the best vet you can be in our well-designed hospital.

Fostering a growth mindset and providing both coaching and mentoring to all team members is very important to us. We are not allergic to change that strengthens us and helps us meet our goals. We would LOVE to offer more minimally-invasive surgical options such as endoscopy/laparoscopy, expand our orthopedic surgery capabilities, and we have room for a hospital expansion when our growth continues with you by our side - if you have a special interest, we want to help support you to achieve excellence!

A full or part-time veterinarian who would be described as:

· An individual with sound medical, surgical and dentistry skills who is always looking to provide next-level veterinary care.

· An ethical person with the emotional intelligence required to be a successful team player - you understand that everyone on our team has value and treat them as such.

· Someone who can recognize their own challenges and is willing to learn, grow, and strive for the betterment of the team.
