Are you passionate about math and love inspiring students to reach their full potential? Join our team as a math instructor for an exciting, immersive 3-week residential summer camp experience! Our program focuses on building strong conceptual foundations and developing advanced problem-solving skills, with many students preparing for math competitions.

Camp Details:

Dates & Locations:
June 23 - July 12: Boston, MA (held at Boston University)
July 21 - August 9: La Jolla, CA (held at UC San Diego)
Note: The program is not affiliated with either university, and the use of their facilities does not imply endorsement.
Student Types:
"Day campers" commute daily.
"Residential campers" stay in dorms for the full three weeks.

Class Schedule:
Classes run Sunday through Thursday, with most Fridays and Saturdays off for instructors.
Sessions are 3 hours each in the morning and afternoon, with optional evening seminars and office hours.
Instructors have the option to stay on campus during the program or commute daily if local to the camp location.

Your Role:

Lead engaging and interactive classes on topics such as Algebra, Geometry, Combinatorics, and Number Theory.
Foster a supportive and collaborative learning environment that motivates students to excel.
Provide feedback on student progress and assist with administrative tasks like check-in, check-out, and study hall supervision.
Collaborate with the camp team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics or a related STEM field (graduate students are encouraged to apply).
Teaching experience with students in grades 6-12, ideally with exposure to math contests such as AMC 8, 10, 12, and AIME.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Commitment to the full 3-week program at one of the camp locations.
